Design
Events

We are aggressively doing design events in Schools and various other colleges where design stream is not established as a department. Our design faculties is doing design research on pedagogy, how student's brain function, how to develop creative and divergent thinking. We also created design curriculum for more than 250+ schools in Delhi/ NCR. Where students of class 9, 10, 11 & 12 are studying design under high end 21 century skills.

WHY DESIGN IS IMPORTANT FOR YOUNG STUDENTS IN SCHOOL? WHY YOU SHOULD DO SUCH EVENTS?

First thing first, design is not art, not just limited to drawing, sketching, oil painting etc. Neither it is doing basic paint work that we do in our art labs. Design thinking is bigger umbrella where it is a perfect trilogy of Philosophy, Psychology and Humor. Where Philosophy makes student creative, Psychology helps in understanding user perspective and Humor makes whole process interesting.

Foster Creativity and Innovation: Design events encourage students to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions to real-world problems. They provide a platform for students to explore their creative potential and develop original ideas.

Collaboration and Teamwork: Many design events require students to work in teams. This promotes collaboration, effective communication, and the development of interpersonal skills, which are crucial for success in any field.

Critical Thinking: Design events encourage critical thinking by requiring students to evaluate design choices, consider different perspectives, and make informed decisions about their projects.

Portfolio Development: Design events provide opportunities for students to create and add to their design portfolios. A strong portfolio can be a valuable asset when applying for colleges or pursuing design careers.

Building Confidence: Successfully participating in design events can boost students' self-confidence and self-esteem. Achieving goals and receiving recognition for their work can be highly motivating.

Celebration of Diversity: Design events celebrate and embrace diversity in creativity. They showcase a wide range of design styles, ideas, and cultural influences, fostering an appreciation for different perspectives.

Community Engagement: Design events often involve the school community, parents, and local businesses, creating a sense of pride and involvement in the school's activities.

Hands-On Learning: Design events often involve practical, hands-on activities that allow students to apply theoretical knowledge to real projects. This experiential learning approach enhances understanding and retention of concepts.

Problem-Solving Skills: Design events typically present participants with complex challenges. Students learn how to analyze problems, break them down into manageable components, and develop solutions—a valuable skill applicable in various contexts.

Communication Skills: Students participating in design events often need to present their ideas and projects to peers, teachers, and judges. This helps improve their verbal and visual communication skills.

Exploration of Interests: These events expose students to various design disciplines, such as graphic design, fashion design, product design, and more. This allows them to explore their interests and potentially discover a passion for a particular area of design.

Exposure to Industry Professionals: Some design events involve industry experts and professionals as judges or mentors. This exposure can provide students with valuable insights into the design industry and potential career paths.

Promotion of Lifelong Learning: Design events instill a love for learning and problem-solving that extends beyond the classroom. Students are encouraged to continue exploring and refining their design skills throughout their lives.

Inspiration and Motivation: Witnessing the work of peers and exposure to high-quality design projects can inspire students to set higher goals and strive for excellence in their own work.
